Julianne Livingston

I completed my Honours im mid 2011. I  worked on the quantitative genetics of body size and reproductive traits using Gambusia as a model organism. I  explored the effect of ontogeny and whether or not fish experienced compensatory growth on the relative values of different variance components (e.g. maternal, additive genetic).  This work is currently been written up for publication.

In conjunction with Andrew Kahn we also looked at the effect of compensatory growth on male attractiveness (paper 1).

In my spare time I walk my dogs and do other stuff. I am currently considering what to do next.

(Footnote from Miichael Jennions: Jules is too modest to say so, but she was awarded a University Medal based on her stellar undergraduate record and the quality of her Honours thesis).
