Judith Smyth Robertson has a BA Australian Studies and a PhD in Australian Studies from the Australian National University. Her Honours thesis was Towards a Critical Edition of Material for a Dictionary of Australian Slang by S.E. O'Brien and A.G. Stephens 1900-1910. Her doctoral dissertation is called Australian Lexicography 1880-1920: An Evaluation.

Judith is a researcher at the Australian National Dictionary Centre and has contributed articles to Ozwords.
