John Hughes
John Hughes has been at CAEPR since 2003 as an editor, e-publisher and webmaster. He is responsible for the CAEPR website and (with Hilary Bek) for the editing, design and production of CAEPR publications. John has previously worked within the Australian Public Service as an Indigenous employment consultant and editor, and as a freelance author and publisher. He has a First Class Honours degree in anthropology from the Australian National University. John's anthropological interests include the cognitive anthropology of religious experience and transformation, and new religious movements in the West from 1950 to the present.
