NATSISS: Data Analysis and Significance Testing Spreadsheet

Nic Biddle (CAEPR) and Boyd Hunter (CAEPR)

Download Spreadsheet [383K Excel]

This 'easy-to-use' spreadsheet is provided by CAEPR as a public good and allows analysts to conduct statistical tests on data from the 2002 National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Survey (NATSISS).

In order to get started, people should always start with the spreadsheet's pre-screening tab, read the questions carefully and follow the prompts (e.g. to the relevant tab).

It goes without saying that all care was taken in the construction of this spreadsheet, but we cannot guarantee that it contains no errors. However, several people have tested and validated it. The spreadsheet is saved as a 'read only' file and we suggest you do the same (so as not to accidently alter the calculations of significance tests after each use). If you do identify any errors in the spreadsheet please inform either Nic Biddle or Boyd Hunter.
