This project was originally an exhibition organised jointly between the Humanities Research Centre and the ANU Drill Hall Gallery at The Australian National University. Components of the exhibition were also held at the ANU School of Art Gallery, the Canberra Contemporary Art Space and the National Museum of Australia. The original exhibition and associated conference were supported by the National Europe Centre, ANU, the National Institute of the Arts, ANU, the National Gallery of Australia, the National Museum of Australia and the Royal Netherlands Embassy.
